Patharai Panivar Nayanar - The History of Patharai Panivar Nayanar

The saluteful devotees. The sight of the people who live in the love for the Lord would take them out of this world, saluting, serving, being very very modest, talking sweet, enjoying their company these devotees go behind them like the calf that follows the cow. If get to see the Lord anywhere worshipable for all by the magnetic force of their love for the Lord taken abode in their hearts they see It in bliss, feel It in bliss, praise It in bliss and worship It in bliss, blessed for others to see are these greatest devotees. The Lord of Three luminant eyes and His slaves whenever seen they worship with involvement. Taken refuge in the Fort that is difficult for even braHma and vishNu, they do any service that would be an offering for the Floral feet of the Fire holding Lord. Do not reenter a womb as for their fame the entire earth may not be enough ! Enthused to hear the stories of the shankara they love the Lord devoting the emotions to Him, their great love may not be known outside. In a melting state thinking the Lord shiva who stole their minds rejoicing in that feeling with stammering words and water fall from the eyes lose the external senses enjoying internally. While standing or sitting or lying or chewing or sleeping or waking or winking or walking whatever they do, never forget the Blissful feet - the stable refuge for the unstable world. The well qualified servants for the Companionless Single Thing. The pleasure they get is from the austerities for the Supreme. Let the flawless devotion of paththarAyp paNivAr n^AyanAr stay in the mind.
