Prayer from Rig Veda


कद्रु॒द्राय॒ प्रचे॓तसे मी॒ळुष्ट॑माय॒ तव्य॑से ।
वो॒चेम॒ शन्त॑मम् हृ॒दे ॥

Mantra as Romanized text

 
Om
kadrudrAya prachetase mILuShTamAya tavyase |
vochema shantamam hRide ||

Meaning of the Prayer Mantra:


When shall we hail Lord Rudra at the heart with enchanting praises, 
Who is Omniscient, Who showers all prosperity, the Supreme!


 Notes: 


1. prachetas - well-cognizing / omniscient; mILuShTama - bountiful;
tavyas - strong / superior; vOchema - tell; shantamam - pleasing.
2. The God in spite of being Supreme, resides in our heart too.
He is a boundless giver of grace. All we need to do is
praise the Lord pleasingly forever enjoying that worship!
