இப்பேரண்டத்தை ஆள வேண்டுமா?

தலம் : பொது பண் : காந்தாரபஞ்சமம் மூன்றாம் திருமுறை பஞ்சாக்கரத் திருப்பதிகம் திருச்சிற்றம்பலம் வண்டமரோதி மடந்தை பேணின ; பண்டை இராவணன் பாடி உய்ந்தன; தொண்டர்கள் கொண்டு துதித்தபின் அவர்க்கு அண்டம் அளிப்பன அஞ்செழுத்துமே. 3.22.8 திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்

Meaning of Thevaram

Chanted by the nice folks; Kept incessantly by the Lady; In ancient time, sung by rAvaNa to be uplifted; When the servitors hail with, granting them the universe subsequently - is the Holy Five Syllables.

பொருளுரை

உறுதியுடைய தமர்களாகிய அடியவர்களால் ஓதப்பட்டு, (உமையம்மையாகிய) பெண்ணால் இடைவிடாது பேணப்படுவன; முற்காலத்தில் இராவணன் உய்வுபெறப் பாடியன; தொண்டர்கள் (உள்ளம்) கொண்டு (பலகாலும்) துதிக்க, அவர்களுக்கு இப்பேரண்டம் ஆளும் வல்லமையும் கொடுப்பன திருவைந்தெழுத்தே!
