Chellur - Perinchellur (Taliparambu) Rajarajeswara Temple
This Sivalingam, the first pratistha was by Mandhata, which went inside the earth. In the same way, Muchukundan also did the second pratistha and this too went inside
the earth. The Lingapratistha of the lingam now there in the temple was done by Sathasoma Maharishi. Here, Koovalam leaves are not used in poojas as Vaishnava thejas is
also there. Darshan is towards east. Hence, Melsanthi offers pooja standing. 4 poojas are there everyday. Only Ghee is used inside. Ganapathy, Subrahmanian, Nandikeshwaran,
Parvathy Devi, Mahakalan, Yakshi and Vrishabhan are the Upadevas.
State : Kerala
From Taliparambu (in Kannur District), the temple is only 1 km maway.
