Meaning:
Ghosts will not touch, but would go away. Be it the
offspring or the things one keep thinking about, they
would get those boons. There is no need for any doubt.
The bamboo like shouldered uma's Partner - His
thiruveNkADu's mukkuLam pond's water, one who takes dip,
they would not be dipped in the bad vinai (deed/karma).

Notes:
1. This song and hence the pathikam is known to plead
for the boon of child. The indication can be found in
the song itself. Having got this song by the "kayiRu
cArththuthal", accuthak kaLappALar and his wife chanted
this and worshipped the Lord at thiruveNkADu taking
dip in the mukkuLam. Consequently they named the child
they got by the blessing of God as svEthavanap perumAL,
who became renowned as meykaNDar later.
(The complete pathikam )
2. aiyuRal - suspecting; vEy - bamboo.
