பாலையாடுவர் பன்மறை ஓதுவர்
சேலையாடிய கண் உமை பங்கனார்
வேலையார் விடமுண்ட வெண்காடற்கு
மாலையாவது மாண்டவர் அங்கமே.

Meaning:
Bathes in milk; Chants many vedas;
The Partner of umA with eyes of dancing cEl fish;
For the Lord of thiruveNkADu, Who ate the roaring
poison of the sea, one that becomes garland are
the limbs of those dead.

Notes:
1. Lord shiva wearing the limbs of the dead including
the divines, is the indication that It is the Eternal One!
