Meaning:
There is something to say. If You ask what it is,
on the strand (of matted hair) that appears like the red sky
never touch the hissing snake ! Oh the vEdin Who keeps on
head, the ganga that makes waves throughout the downstream,
honey rich konRai and fragrant vanni !

Notes:
1. Jocularly the lady of great devotion addresses the Lord
in the closeness out of devotion that, "If You by mistake
touch the snake on Your matted hair, it will bite You,
mistaking Your finger as the moon to bite which it is
waiting for !"
2. thoDai - strand; izin^thOTTam - downstream; thirai - wave;
viraiththal - odorous.
