Meaning of stanza:

(I) won't accept the life of indra, viShNu or brahma;
(I) won't seek the company other than that of
Your devotees, even if (my) clan is ruined;
(I) won't despise even if (I) get to hell,
if it is by Your grace; Oh God!
(I) won't think of any divines other than You,
our Ultimate Lord!

Notes:
1. As the devotion matures, the devotee does not
attracted by anything other than desire for Lord shiva.
maNivAcakar shows the height here. People seek
God to get to the eternal bliss. Our saint says,
"As long as it is through Your grace, put me even
into the hell, I won't mind." When the soul sticks to
Blissful God like this, even if it is in hell will it suffer?
After all the hell can give suffering, but can it make the
soul, ever blissfully tied to God, suffer?

2. c.f. a. peRinum piRithu yAthum vENDOm

3. puran^tharan - indra; n^aLLEn - won't make friendship with;
eLLEn - won't despise; uLLEn - won't think of.
