போதையார் பொற்கிண்ணத்து அடிசில் பொல்லாதெனத்
தாதையார் முனிவுறத் தான் எனை ஆண்டவன்
காதையார் குழையினன் கழுமல வளநகர்ப் 
பேதையாள் அவளடும் பெருந்தகை இருந்ததே.

Explanation of song:


Saying, "The food in the floral-golden-bowl is improper",
when father became angry, the One Who saved me;
One with ear-ball in the ear; One Who at prosperous city
of kazumalam resided with the Lady !

Notes:
1. sambandhar reminisces his childhood incident at
the bank of the pond in cIrkAzi, when he was given 
the milk of supreme wisdom by the Divine Parents,
without realizing which his father who was taking bath 
getting angry with him, at that time singing "thODuDaiya
ceviyan" ( /daily-prayers-thirumurai-series/five-deeds-of-lord )
showing the Lord of piramApuram.
2. pOthu - flower; aDicil - food; munivuRal - getting
angry.
