thiruchchiRRambalam

Meaning:
The Supreme Who sings the five mantras,
Fiercely pealing out the elephant, will fire-dance.
The mind, long live, keeps thinking of thirumIyaccUr
young temple of the One Who enslaved me.

Notes:
1. panyca manthiram - pancha brahma mantram.
2. It may be inferred that when appar visited
thirumIyaccUr, temple renovation was in progress.
As the main deity gets installed during this period
in a place called "bAlAlayam" outside the sanctum,
appar seem to have referred the abode as iLankOyil.
