Translation of song:

He took us into fold coming as a vedin making us
see the Holy Feet as a form while even mahAviShNu
could not feel them going as boar!
For the Lord Who has no single name, no single form,
nothing at all, let us sing thousand names and
clap theLLENam.

Notes:
1. God is by nature beyond any specific form or name.
We hail that abstract God by singing the grace It
showered on the devotees and worshipping the forms
It appeared to them to bless.
2. Details of the folk activity theLLENam is not known.
It could be one of the services offered by the womenfolk
to the Lord of thillai - like poRcuNNam.
