Prayer from Sivagnana Sidhdhiyar 

 

திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்

அரனடிக் கன்பர் செய்யும் பாவமும் அறம தாகும்  
பரனடிக் கன்பி லாதார் புண்ணியம் பாவ மாகும்  
வரமுடைத் தக்கன் செய்த மாவேள்வி தீமை யாகி  
நரரினிற் பாலன் செய்த பாதகம் நன்மை யாய்த்தே

Meaning of the Prayer Song:

Even if those who are the form of love to the Feet of Lord Hara, commit sin, that becomes virtue.
Even if those who have no love for the Supreme, do virtue those end up as sins.
The gigantic yagna done by the well bestowed daksha became disaster;
The sin committed by the human boy (chandishar) became meritorious!!
  
 Notes: 

1. The devotees talked about in the first line are the one who have lost their identity in the love of God.
In such a state there is no sin or virtue.  For example Chandishar who was lost in the worship of God,
chopped off the legs of his father. Even though it is a big sin, due to the loss of self
in the love of God, he became favoured son of God.
