Meaning of the Prayer Hymn:

He saw there, in the very sky, woman appearing - vividly brilliant - Uma
- the daughter of the mountain (Parvati)!
To Her, he asked, "Who is this Yaksha?"

 Notes:

1. AjagAma - came to; haimavati - daughter of himavan.

2. When Indra approached the Supreme, Who had come as the Yaksha,
the Lord concealed Himself. In that very place Goddess Uma - the Parvati
appeared.

3. This is the key philosophic concept of Shaktinipada. When the spiritual aspirant
in the earnest way seeks the God and when the aspirant is also in the ripe maturity,
God first reaches out to the aspirant through His Grace - His Shakti. The descend
of the Grace is called Shaktinipada. The Shakti or the Grace shows as what the Supreme
is and allows us to rejoice in the union with that Supreme!
