The seventh Thirumurai is given by Sundhara Moorthy Adigalar. This is also called Thiruppattu.
Sundharar was getting married. At that time the Lord came as an old man and told the people that Sundharar is the slave of Him. Sundharar said he had never seen that person before that. But that old man proved that Sundharar is the His slave and took him. Sundharar was calling Him "Piththaa" (mad) and following Him. That old man disappeared in the temple of Thiru vennai nalloor. Sundharar realised that it is the God who came to give Sundharar His grace. He cried to the Lord that I called you "Piththaa" by mistake. But the Lord said "Using that word as the first word recite a hymn". Then Sundhara sang this. Sundharar is called "Van thondar" because he praises the Lord as if he is cursing.

Oh mad! Oh Peruman with a crescent, Oh Graceful one, I am thinking about you without forgetting. Oh God of Thiru vennai nalloor in the southern bank of the river Pennai, how can I say I am not your slave?
Sundharar did not want to put his leg in the holy town of thiruvadhikai where Thirunaavukkarasar was born. So he stayed in the outskirts - sidhdhavada madam. In the night when he was sleeping, the God appeared as an old man and put His legs many times on Sundharar 's head. Sundharar shouted at Him. He disappeared from there. Realizing that the old man was God Himself, Sundharar sang this song.

Sundharar once when in Thiruvaaroor was praying to God to bless him to sing the glory of his devotees. God asked him start with His statement as "Thillai vaazh andhanar tham adiyarkkum adiyeen". In this hymn Sundharar sang about 63 devotees of the Lord. This particular song is called "Thiruth thondaththogai".

Kundaiyuur kizaar used to give rice to Sundharar 's house. At one point there was a famine. Kizaar prayed to Lord. Lord made a rice rain to fall and a big heap of rice was formed. People were astonished how that can be mobilised to Sundharar 's house in Thiruvaaruur. Sundharar sang this song and short buudhaas came and took it to Sundharar 's house in Thiruvaaruur. Paravaiyaar (Sundharar 's wife) distributed them to all.

Sundharar was on his way to Thirumudhukunram (Virudhdhaachalam). Then the God appeared in the form a old man. Sundharar asked Him what is the way to go to Thirumudhukunram. God told that this is the path to kuudalaiyaatroor and disappeared. With this pleasent shock Sundharar sang this song.

When Sundharar was coming near Thirukkurugaavuur, he was quite tired and hungry. Then God made a small shelter and waited there as an old man. There Sundharar and other devotees took rest and had food. After that God disappeared with the shelter. Amused, Sundharar sang this hymn.

As Sundharar approached thirukkachchuur, he was quite hungry. At that time God begged the food for Sundharar, gave him and disappeared. With tears of thanksgiving and love he sang this.

Sundharar married Sangili naachiyaar with the promise in God's presence that he wont leave her. But since he was in heavy love with the Lord of Thiruvaaruur, he wanted to go there. As he left Sangili naachiyaaar, violating the promise, he lost the sight of both the eyes. He prayed to God of thiruvenpakkam. God gave him a stick to hold and walk.

At Kanchipuram (Ekambam) he got the sight of left eye. In Thiruvaaruur, he prayed with depression for the sight in the other eye also. At this God gave the sight for the other eye also.

In Avinaasi, while two young boys were playing in a pond one was eaten by a crocodile. The parents of the child were crying. Out of the mercy on suffering people Sundharar sang a song asking the God to order the Yama to bring the young boy to life.
