Irunilamcode - rock cut temple, Mullurkara, Thalappilly Taluk, the Wadakancherry - Shornur route, two kilometers away on the North Western side of Mulloorkkara.
Trissur - Sree Vatakkunaathar (Siva)-Parvathi Temple; at the centre of Trissur Tekkinkaat ground. Pincode - 680001. This is (Dakshina Kailash) one of the very famous and oldest temple in Kerala; and situated in the heart of the Thekkinkadu Ground, the centre of Thrissur city. This is the first among the 108 Siva temples and it is considered as Maha Khsethra. It is believed that in all these 108 temples, the Prathishta of Siva was alone by Parasurama.
When Parasurama retained Kerala from Vasuna (Sea God) by throwing his axe from Gokarnam; he prayed Siva to save the prople from all dangers and give prosperity; Then Siva with Parvathy Devi gave presence here, which is the middle portion of the retrieved area. Here one Papal tree is there, under that only Siva and Parvathy gave darshan to Parasurama; and it is called Sreemoolasthanam. Here darshan of each devas should be had in a special way. Parvathy Devi is the same Sreekovil of Siva and Ganapathy towards east. The sculptures and wall paintings are very nice.
No special festival is there, only Sivarathri is celebrated. But the famous Thrissur Pooram is festival is conducted before to Siva (Vadakkunathar) only. The Devi's and Devas of Thiruvambady, Paramelkavu, Chembakkavu, Naithilakavu, Laloor, Karimangalam, Panekkampilly will come here for darshan on that day.
