Hinduism - Human Made Religion?

Is Hinduism a God given religion or man made ? Isn't it something out of human efforts as the evolution and civilisation progressed ? You talk about spirituality, analysing things etc as against firmly believing in a God given book or a messenger as the way to salvation ...

There are two ends of the religious/philosophical spectrum. On one extreme Athism, Jainism, Budhdhism and like that call on individual focus call for concrete and provable means and suggest the continuous improvement of the individual for ones own improvement nagating on various degrees the belief in a God. On the other hand religions like Christianity, Islam etc make their claims on God given religion and demand for the belief and following of the prophesies given by the founder and follower saints. One extreme focusses humanity emphasizing on rationalism and completely ignores the super-human forces. The other focusses on divinity emphasizing on firm belief and gives very little significance to intellectual thinking and questioning.

Just imagine. Tomorrow somebody from some corner of the world raises hand and says that he has been sent specially by God for the salvation of humanity. He claims that those who follow will be led for heaven and the rest dumped into fierce hell ! If we do not believe in him, he may very well ask when you believe in other messengers why not me ? Can one say the other messenger they believe in is proved to be a messenger of god because of the marvels he performed. The marvels especially of the long past, though they may be true, are not verifiable. Even if we set it aside as it would lead to complexity and confusion, if we go by the assumption that the marvels prove one to be the messenger of God, there are so many comtemporaries who claim they have magical powers. So if any one of them make a statement above claiming to be the sole representative of God, would that be acceptable ? This question mainly stems from the belief Believing in a single book or a messenger will lead only to blind belief. How can one deny if somebody suddenly starts claiming he or she is the messenger of God ? On one extreme Athism, Jainism, Budhdhism and on the other Christianity, Islam. mikkuch chOdhikka vENDA suDarviTTULan engaL jOthi Hinduism the proper way. While upholding the humanly impossible God given concepts, permits the seekers to independently verify/realise the truth of the religion If in case one says for the sake of argument that vedas are human made and they clearly show the primitive religion on the make, what could be the explanation that can be offered for the well developed worship of Lord Shiva in the excavations of Harappa and Mohenjadaro that gets dated by historiansat least 5000 years ago ?
