மன்றத்தே நம்பிதன் மாடம் எடுத்தது
மன்றத்தே நம்பி சிவிகை பெற்று ஏறினான்
மன்றத்தே நம்பி முக்கோடி வழங்கினான்
சென்று அத்தா என்னத் திரிந்திலன் தானே.

Translation of song:

Hero built his multistoried house at the (city) center.
Hero, amidst public, rose over a palanquin.
Hero gave to the public three crores. (food, cloth & shelter)
When called, "oh father!", (now) he does not show any expression!

Notes:
1. People can become great in terms of their
wealth, status and even in doing charity.
However, one fine day irrespective of all these glory
they need to drop this body dead!
