Meaning of thirumoolar thirumandhiram:

Moving along with the world many get uplifted;
They benefit even without their knowledge.
Some act without thinking appropriately;
They do not get to see the Fish-like-eyed Lady !

Notes:
1. The word "palar" (many) is noteworthy in the first
two lines. This is the reason ancient wise sages have
wrapped great knowledge into customs that are to be
followed. The common man even without knowing the
greatness of what he/she does, reap the benefit.
(however they do leave provisions for one who wants
to understand and practise.
