திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்

பெருஞ்செல்வம் கேடு என்று முன்னே படைத்த
தருஞ்செல்வம் தந்த தலைவனை நாடும்
வருஞ்செல்வத்து இன்பம் வரவிருந்தெண்ணி
அருஞ்செல்வத்து ஆகுதி வேட்க நின்றாரே.

Explanation of song:

The Master, Who earlier created both 
great prosperity and destitution,
and gave the appropriate wealth
- in the wealth of seeking Him,
in order to get the Bliss,
(they) plead (giving) the rare wealth of Ahuti!

Notes:
1. God gave us the tanu, karana, bhuvana, bhOgas
(body, instruments, world and enjoyments).
Realizing that the wise seek the Bliss of God
performing the Ahuti at the holy fire.
