பூக்கைக்கொண்டு அரன் பொன்னடி போற்றிலார் 
நாக்கைக் கொண்டு அரன் நாமம் நவில்கிலார் 
ஆக்கைக்கே யிரை தேடி அலமந்து 
காக்கைக்கே யிரையாகிக் கழிவரே.

Translation of song:

Getting the flowers in hand they do not hail the Golden Feet of hara;
With the tongue they do not chant the Name of hara;
pursuing food for the body, exhausted,
they are lost as the food for the crows.

1. People are very busy. Chasing madly the food for the body
- the stomach, the senses ... to get exhausted, to finally become
food for others. What was achieved?
