திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்

மழுவலான் திருநாமம் மகிழ்ந்துரைத்து 
அழவலார்களுக்கு அன்பு செய்து இன்பொடும் 
வழுவிலா அருள் செய்தவன் மாற்பேறு 
தொழவலார் தமக்கு இல்லை துயரமே.

Explanation of song:

One Who is skilled with the axe, His holy name,
chanting delightfully one who could cry, for them
One Who brings love, happiness, unfailing grace,
His thirumARpERu one who worships for them 
there is no distress.

Notes:
1. They rejoice and cry in worship (makiznthuraiththu
azavalAr). Both are simply expressions of divine love
for them. 
2. mazu - axe; vazuvilA - unfailing.
