நீரிடம் கொண்ட நிமிர் சடை தன்மேல் நிரைகொன்றை
சீரிடம் கொண்ட எம்மிறை போலும் சேய்தாய
ஓருடம்புள்ளே உமை ஒருபாகம் உடனாகிப் 
பாரிடம் பாட இனிதுறை கோயில் பரங்குன்றே.

Meaning:
Looks like It is our God, Who over the stiff 
matted hair that houses water (gangai) keeps
the konRai cluster; In the one reddish form
Who is joined by uma in one part; Sung by the
bhutas, He Who stays nicely, His temple is 
thirupparankunRam.
