அன்புறு சிந்தையராகி அடியவர்
நன்புறு நல்லூர்ப் பெருமணம் மேவி நின்று
இன்புறும் எந்தை இணையடி ஏத்துவார்
துன்புறுவாரல்லர் தொண்டுசெய்வாரே

Translation of thevaram:

The devotees, as the love hearted ones,
who hail the Parallel Feet of our Lord, Who
rejoices at the virtuous nallur perumaNam,
are not the ones who would suffer, but 
are the ones who would serve !
