Explanation of thevaram:

Tendershoot like brilliance is resembled in
the beauty of the glorious Daughter of mountain.
Since Her cool beautiful two breasts are embracing,
the Name of the cool-fresh radiant Lord of thirunaLLARu,
even when put on splendid glowing fire, they would
not be damaged. This is truth !

Notes:
1. This was the padhikam composed by the virtuous eye
of shaivism, when he was challenged by the opponents
to prove the divinity of the Lord by putting the scriptures
on the fire. cambandhar did kayiRu cArththal and got
thirunaLLARRup padhikam - bOgamArththa pUNmulaiyAL.
He sang this padhikam and put the palm leaf in the
burning fire. The glow of the fire did no damage to that.
(Hence bOgamArththa is called paccaip padhikam.)
Victory is Shaivism's
2. thaLir - tendershoot; n^aLir - cool.
