காதலாகிக் கசிந்து கண்ணீர் மல்கி 
ஓதுவார் தமை நன்னெறிக்கு உய்ப்பது
வேதம் நான்கினும் மெய்ப்பொருளாவது
நாதன் நாமம் நமச்சிவாயவே.

Explanation of song:

Becoming love itself, oozing tears growing abound,
whoever chants, uplifts them to the glorious path;
The Truth of the four vedas;
The name of Lord - is "namaccivAya".

Notes:
1. The ultimate padhikam of thirunyAna sambandhar,
as he showed the glorious destination to all at his
marriage and after all who had the inclination attained
It, sambandhar sang the padhikam (for us, the 
generations later also to get to that Glory) and entered
the Lord's jyOthi. 
2. namaccivAya - the heart of the vedas, the ultimate
mantra told by all the four saints is definite to uplift
us if chanted with sincerity.
