செந்தமிழ்த் திறம் வல்லிரோ செங்கண்
    அரவம் முன் கையில் ஆடவே
வந்து நிற்கும் இதென்கொலோ 
    பலிமாற்ற மாட்டோம் இடகிலோம்
பைந்தண் மாமலர் உந்து சோலைகள் 
    கந்தம் நாறு பைஞ்ஞீலியீர்
அந்தி வானமும் மேனியோ சொலும்
    ஆரணிய விடங்கரே.
