துஞ்ச வருவாரும் தொழுவிப்பாரும் வழுவிப்போய்
நெஞ்சம் புகுந்து என்னை நினைவிப்பாரும் முனைநட்பாய்
வஞ்சப் படுத்தொருத்தி வாழ்நாள்கொள்ளும் வகைகேட்டு

Meaning:
The One Who comes as (I) sleep and make (me) worship,
sneaking in One Who enters the heart and makes me think,
is our Reverend of thivAlaN^kADu - the town that gets
terrified by the deed of the girl who took away a life
cunningly acting friendly.

Notes:
1. The story of pazaiyanUr n^Ili - the spirit of the 
wife that took revenge on the husband who committed her
murder, and the lords of the town taking moral 
responsibility for the incident and committing themselves
to death - is referred here.
2. Souls are bound by the filth of pAcam that keep the
souls drowning more and more. In that time the God 
appears as the Sun that clears the covering snow. 
3. Still as the soul that is not yet completely out
of pAcam we forget the Lord. When a committed devotee
forgets the Lord, It enters the heart through some other
means calls the attention of the devotee, "How are you ?"
It is the infinite Mercy of the God that pardons the 
forgetfulness and also provide more and more chances
for the devotee to seek the Lord shunning away the filth.
