நூலுடை அந்தணர் காணும் நுவலிலே.

Meaning of song:

When elucidated, is the thread and hair-lock the Supreme?
(After all) thread is cotton and fine hair-lock is hair.
The (actual) meaning seen by the vedins is
thread is the conclusion of vedas and fine hair-lock is the wisdom!

symbols. People wear them without realizing their meaning!
Such people see the thread and shikai only as cotton and hair.
The wise hold them as the symbol of wisdom.
