வார்மலி மென்முலை மாது ஒரு பாகமதாகுவர் 
       வளங் கிளர் மதி அரவம் வைகிய சடையர்
கூர்மலி சூலமும் வெண்மழுவும் அவர் வெல்படை 
        குனி சிலை தனிம்மலையது ஏந்திய குழகர்
ஆர்மலி ஆழிகொள் செல்வனும் அல்லிகொள் தாமரைம் 
        மிசையவன் அடிம்முடி அளவு தாமறியார்
தார்மலி கொன்றை  அலங்கல் உகந்தவர் தங்கிடம்
        தடங்கடல் இடுந் திரைத் தருமபுரம் பதியே.

Meaning:
Having in one side the lady of tender breast covered with
band; The flourishing moon and snake living Matted-haired;
Sharp trident and white axe are His victorious arms;
As the bent bow, the Young Who held the unique mount;
By the wealthy one who has the sharp disc (viShNu) and 
the one on the (nice) petal-ed lotus (brahma), unmeasured
length of feet and crown One Who has; Clustered konRai
garland One Who favors - His residing place is the 
dharumapuram with the roar of the ocean waves.
