நூலொன்று பற்றி நுனியேற மாட்டாதார்
பாலொன்று பற்றினாற் பண்பின் பயன் கெடும்
கோலொன்று பற்றினாற் கூடா பறவைகள்
மாலொன்று பற்றி மயங்குகின்றார்களே.

Explanation of song:

People do not hold on to one book and reach to its crux.
When trying to catch one from each side, the fruitfulness is compromised.
When a stick is held birds do not approach.
People get stuck to their ignorance and get perplexed.

Notes:
1. There is a problem called analysis paralysis. 
In spiritual domain also it is active. 
There are many options. One cannot just keep
evaluating. One has to chose and keep going
towards the Lord shiva. Rather than trying to fight
away thousand thoughts, it is better to hold to one
thought on God. Otherwise people would
just stay at square one. 
Here is where the guidance of the right guru
would be of immense help.
