சூலஞ்சேர் கையினீர் சுண்ண வெண்ணீறாடலீர்
நீலஞ்சேர் கண்டத்தீர் நீண்ட சடையின் மேல் நீரேற்றீர்
ஆலஞ்சேர் தண் கானல் அன்னம் மன்னும் தலைச்சங்கைக்
கோலஞ்சேர் கோயிலே கோயிலாகக் கொண்டீரே

Oh Trident handed, Bathed in powdered white ash,
Blue throated, Taken the water (gangai) on the wide
matted-hair, You have taken the nice abode of
thalaichchaN^kADu, where the swans glorify the
water rich cool groves on the shore, as Your abode.
