சிந்தை இடையறா அன்பும் திருமேனி தன்னில் அசைவும்
கந்தை மிகையாம் கருத்தும் கை உழவாரப் படையும்
வந்திழி கண்ணீர் மழையும் வடிவிற் பொலி திருநீறும்
அந்தமிலாத் திருவேடத்து அரசும் எதிர் வந்தணைய

Meaning:
In the heart never-disrupted love, body that is moved,
the opinion that even the torn cloth is quite a lot,
hand holding the arm of uzavAram, the rain of tears
that flows down, the Holy Ash that glows up on the
form - with these the king of great form that has no
downside - coming in front.

Notes:
1. cEkkizAr describes the "anthamilAth thiruvEDam" of
thirunAvukkaracar perumAn, when he was about to meet
cambanthar for the first time. Very interestingly
cEkkizAr praises very highly appar in cambanthar
purANam and cambanthar in appar purANam. This seems to
be very much closely following the feelings of these
two nAyanmArs. Isn't he very appropriate to look at
cambanthar from appar's perspective in
thirunAvukkarasar purANam and vice versa ?
2. uzavAram - the instrument used to chisel out the
weeds that grow in and around Lord shiva temples,
clearing the place.
