Meaning of Thiruthondar Puranam

 
Even if the five elements (water, air, fire, earth & sky) 
loose their steadiness, they (devotees) don't forget the 
Floral Feet of the Lord, Who has lady in one side of the body. 
Stand stiff in the path chanting in love. 
Flawless hill of character. 
 
Notes

 
1. Who else can tell how the devotees would be other than 
the one who wrote a book itself on the devotees living through 
their lives mentally ! In the description of the assembly 
of devotees (thirukkUTTach chiRappu), cEkkizAr brings to us 
the essence of their lives - Determination in Devotion. 
   Aren't the devotees whom we revere as great, the ones who  
were ready to sacrifice their livelihood or even the things  
more valuable than own life ! Doesn't it reflect on all the 63 
faces of the diamond - in periya purANam !! For them,  
"What if the sky collapse, what if the whole world is against ? 
As long as the beloved Lord shiva is there." (thappi vAnam - appar).
