திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்

நாதன் ஒருவனும் நல்ல இருவரும்
கோது குலத்தொடும் கூட்டிக் குழைத்தனர்
ஏது பணியென்று இசையும் இருவருக்கு
ஆதி இவனே அருளுகின்றானே.

Explanation of thirumoolar thirumandhiram:

One Master and two good people made the varieties 
(of the things in the worlds). To the two who seek asking,
"What is the command for us ?", the Source, He only 
blesses.

Notes:
1. Lord shiva appears one in the trinity, as the owner of
a shop would do along with the people working for the shop.
As the servants obey the orders of the Master, the other
two in the trinity seek the command of Lord shiva.
