மானின் நேர் விழி மாதராய் வழுதிக்கு
    மாப்பெருந்தேவி கேள்
பால் நல்வாயொரு பாலன் ஈங்கிவன் 
    என்று நீ பரிவெய்திடேல்
ஆனைமாமலை ஆதியாய
    இடங்களில் பல அல்லல் சேர்
ஈனர்கட்கு எளியேனலேன் திரு
    ஆலவாய் அரன் நிற்கவே.

Explanation of song:

Oh the lady with the eyes like the deer !
Oh the great queen of the pANDiya king,
Listen ! Don't be anxious that this is a
boy of (tender) milk drinking age !
To the troublesome wicked people who are
at the places starting from Anaimalai,
I am not an easy inferior one when 
the hara of thiruvAlalvAy is standing 
(in my side).

Notes:
1. sambandhar was called by the pANDiya king
to cure his illness and so were the jains.
As sambandhar's mutt was put on fire very 
recently by the miscreants, the kind hearted 
queen was worried about the safety of the 
very young sambandhar. Driving away her
anxiety sambandhar sang this.
2. If the deeds even if it is service to God
is done ones own strength, there is a possibility
that it is vulnerable to threats. Who can stand
against, if the service is executed truthfully as
a servant of the Unchallengeable God ?!
Victory was for samabndhar - the devotee of 
the Lord of thiruvAlavAy !!
