திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்

கற்றவர் விழுங்கும் கற்பகக் கனியைக்
    கரையிலாக் கருணை மா கடலை
மற்றவர் அறியா மாணிக்க மலையை
    மதிப்பவர் மன மணிவிளக்கைச்
செற்றவர் புரங்கள் செற்ற எம் சிவனைத்
    திருவீழிமிழலை வீற்றிருந்த
கொற்றவன் தன்னைக் கண்டுகண்டுள்ளம்
    குளிர என் கண் குளிர்ந்தனவே.

kaRRavar vizuN^gum kaRpakak kaniyaik
    karaiyilAk karuNai mA kaDalai

ceRRavar puraN^kaL ceRRa em civanaith
    thiruvIzimizalai vIRRirun^tha
koRRavan thannaik kaNdukaNDuLLam
    kuLira en kaN kuLirn^thanavE.

thirucciRRambalam

Meaning:
The (all desire granting) kaRpaka fruit that is
intaken by those who have learnt (Its glory);
The Great ocean of grace that has no bounds;
The Mount of (precious) mANikka gem that is 
not known to others; The splendid lamp in the
mind of those who honor It; Our Lord shiva 
Who won the cities of the foes; The King, Who
resides in thiruvIzimizalai - on seeing Him on
and on the heart becomes cool and so my eyes
also became cool (in enchantment).

Notes:
1. It may be the unrealized ones who may get 
satisfied seeking small favors from that Almighty.
The wise realize the great value of God and 
make effort to always keep with them by 
internalizing It. Now they need not seek what they
require. It takes care of !
2. That is a huge mountain of immeasurable value.
But those who do not understand It, miss out !
For those who know to keep It in high esteem,
It shines as the ever-lasting Luminance that guide 
them through to glory !
3. As the heart is filled with bliss, the same flows
out through the eyes.
4. ceRRavar - enemies; ceRRa - won over; 
koRRavan - king.
