சித்தந் தேறுஞ் செறிவளை சிக்கெனும்
பச்சை தீரும் என் பைங்கொடி பால்மதி
வைத்த மாமயிலாடுதுறை அரன்
கொத்தினிற் பொலி கொன்றை கொடுக்கிலே.

Translation of song:

My tender green creeper (like girl) would get solace,
her bangles with get tightened (back),
her pacalai would be cured,
if the hara of the great mayilADuthuRai, Who
has the milky moon, gives konRai flower
from the bunch (He wears).

Notes:
1. This girl has given herself into the love of God.
She has become lean and weak, thinking only
about Him. For getting smile back on her face,
we don't even need her Lover to come to her;
Just the konRai He wears would go a long way
making her cheerful.
