Prayer from Kena Upanishad

यश्चक्षुषा न पश्यति यॆन चक्षूँषि पश्यति ।
तदॆव ब्रह्म त्वं विद्धि नॆदं यदिदमुपासतॆ ॥ ७ ॥

yashchakShuShA na pashyati yEna chakShU~MShi pashyati |
tadEva brahma tvaM viddhi nEdaM yadidamupAsatE || 7 ||
(yat chakShuSha na pashyati yEna chakShUmsi pashyati |
tat Eva brahma tvaM viddhi na idaM yat idam upAsatE || )

Meaning of the Prayer Hymn:
That, which cannot be seen by the eyes,
by which the eyes see,
realize that That alone is the All-pervading;
Not this, that is worshipped here!
Notes:
1. Eye (along with mind) is an instrument that
senses things at far. Even such a powerful instrument
cannot see God, but God makes that instrument operate!
