In the body whose joints are tormented as the prana starts passing out,
surrounded by the kith and kin who crowd bursting into cry due to affection,
possessed only with the subconsciousness, oh Shiva, One who is inside countless (souls / things)!
how can I address You and offer my mind?!
Notes:
1. utkrAnti - passing out; vyatikara - moving up and down / destruction;
dalana - splitting; prasara - advance; Akranda - cry out/ weep;
Avid - address.
2. When into the pain of staying in the death bed, crowded by
all those beloved who amplify the pain, how can one fi the mind
on God? If one is smart enough, he/she should worship the Lord Shiva now.
3. Advice of Aiyadikal
