ஏற்றார் புரமூன்றும் எரியுண்ணச் சிலைதொட்டாய்
தேற்றாதன சொல்லித் திரிவேனோ செக்கர் வானீர்
ஏற்றாய் பெண்ணைத் தென்பால் வெண்ணெய்நல்லூர் அருட்டுறையுள்
ஆற்றாய் உனக்காளாய் இனி அல்லேன் எனல் ஆமே.

 You touched the mount (meru) making 
the three cities of those with enmity to be eaten by fire!
Oh the One like the reddish sky! 
Will I wander around uttering loose things?!
Oh the One with river, at the port of Grace
in Thiruvenneynallur at the south bank of Pennai,
being your slave, can I any longer say "No"?
