Meaning of the Prayer Song:
Oh the Remover of Kama! Binding the all the souls starting from brahma
with the rope of desire, You, the Only Who is perceivable, imperceivable and beyond,
are acting through their actions! When any of them are taking refuge in Your Feet,
You liberate through the wisdom, and make get to the Blissful Supreme abode!
I fall upon You!
Notes:
1. baddhvA - bound; chit - perceivable; mOchayitva - liberating;
sAndrAnandam - Bliss; dhAma - abode.
2. All the souls are bound in nature. Lord Shiva is the Only one Who is not bound.
Due to the limitless mercy on the souls,
the Lord binds the souls - be it brahma or a tiny creature -
through the instrument of desire. Due to this desire or will
we seem to act. But even the action is energized by the God.
When we keep this will on God and take refuge in Lord Shiva,
that is the state of maturity for us to rejoice the Grace of God.
Then the Lord liberates us from the bondage through the
wisdom and keeps us in ever Blissful state!
