Meaning of the Prayer Song:

Concern of the food - that itself is the concern (of life); If it is not that the concern for wealth is the never ceasing concern; The concern for the nice beautiful girls is a long lasting concern; Oh Ekambareshwara of Kachi, oh God, what concern have you kept for this sinful heart (for salvation)!

1. annam - food; vichAram - concern; sonnam - gold / wealth; thOkaiyar - peacock feather like women. 2. Concern for survival; Concern for growth/wealth; Concern for sex - the mind is fully preoccupied with these concerns. What is left in it to think of salvation!
