Om
Oh Cosmic vital physician (Rudra)! Oh the Mighty!
I will not address You with sour salutations,
nor do ill-addressed worship, nor address You equally with others!
Uplift our brave people with the medicines!
I hear that You are the Supreme among all medics!
Notes:
1. chukrudhAma - make sour/ provoke; duShTuti - ill addressed worship;
vRuShabha - mighty; sahUti - conjoint invocation;
2. mA sahUtI
May we not keep anyone at the same importance as God.
Everyone gets their fame and glory only through the mercy shown by God.
Hence, it would be inappropriate to equate and worship anyone as God.
