Prayer of the Day
Prayer from Basavanna Vachana

Meaning of the Prayer Song:
Isn't chanting once the name of Shiva
good enough to remove the hundreds of crores of sins?!
Isn't chanting once the name of Hara god enough?!
Oh the Divine of Kudalasangama,
when You have made (me) the cow with Your emblem!
Notes:
1. The very name Hara means remover.
The Lord Hara separates us from the veil of darkness,
releases us from the Karma.
Chanting the names Shiva and Hara removes us from the sins
and puts us in the progressive spiritual path.
The cows that have the symbol of God on them are pardoned
from the punishment as they are enslaved to God.
The same way the devotee is enslaved to God.
Hence, the divines of the nature do not hurt the devotee,
as the devotee is in the enslaved to Divine Shiva!
