Meaning of the Prayer Mantra:
Hail the Eternal;
Worship the Omniscient
- One with the emerging smoke and
unsubdued splendor!
Notes:
1. IDiShva - to hail; prativyam - eternal;
jAtavEdas - Omniscient; chariShNu - moving;
agRubhItashOchiSham - unsubdued splendor
2. In this hymn the worshipper hails the Supreme,
Who is in the form of Agni right in front.
(It should be noted that the Agni along with the Vedikai
is the same as the Shivalinga and the Gomukha we worship)
3. This hymn is sung as the Samagana called "Varkajambhadyam".
