दॆवता : सूर्य

उदु॒ त्यं जा॒तवॆ॑दसं दॆ॒वं व॑हन्ति कॆ॒तव॑ः ।
दृ॒शॆ विश्वा॑य॒ सूर्य॑म् ॥ १-५०-१ ॥

udu tyaM jAtavEdasaM dEvaM vahanti kEtavaH |

Meaning of the Prayer Mantra:
The Renowned, Omniscient, Divine to Whom all these brilliance lead up to
- the world looks up to that Surya!
Notes:
1. udvahanti - leading up; tyaM - famous; kEtavaH - rays/brilliance;
dRushe - to see.
2. Who is Surya? Surya is one of the eight forms (ashta murti) of Lord Shiva.

नीलग्रीवम् चिदानन्दम् नमामि शिवम् अव्ययम् ॥
