Om
Oh the Lord of braided hair, Who shines in the
sky as powerful One, we salute Your Form and invoke!
May He give us health (medicine), wealth, happiness,
safety and shelter!
Notes:
1. aruSham - reddish shine; bibhrat - holding;
vArya - valuable; sharma - happiness; varma - safety;
ChardiH - shelter
2. This hymn seeks the purusharta - Artha or wealth.
