Meaning of the Prayer Mantra:
Human invoke Indra (the Resplendent Lord) in the struggles;
They devoutly sing His protection;
The Valiant, Who enfolds men, by Your authority
place us in possession of pastures abounding with cattles
Notes:
1. nEmadhitA - apart; havante - call; shUra - heroic; nRushAtA - capturing men
2. Essence of the Vedas is seeking the four Purusharthas - namely,
Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha.
This hymn seeks the Artha or wealth and protection from the Divine.
