Om
As the Protector of the herd, we offer you the songs,
oh the Father of winds, bestow us with joy!
We seek your favor to keep providing us prosperity, good mind,
and happiness.
Notes:
1. stoma - hymn; pashupa: - protector of herd; marut - wind;
bhadra - prosperity; atha - further; vRunimahe - seek.
2. We do not seek the blessing of the God as a one time transaction.
We seek the God to keep providing us the prosperity of
material and mind all throughout. Because our Lord shiva is
the pashupati - the Lord of us, the souls.
