Prayer of the Day

Prayer in Sanskrit 

त्वं वॆदान्तैर्विविधमहिमा गीयसे विश्वनेत-
    स्त्वं विप्राद्यैर्वरद निखिलैरिज्यसे कर्मभिस्स्वैः ।
त्वं दृष्टनुश्रविकविषयानन्दमात्रावितृष्णै-
    रन्तर्ग्रन्थिप्रविलयकृते चिन्त्यते यॊगिवृन्दैः ॥ ५ ॥

tvaM vEdAntairvividhamahimA gIyase vishvaneta-
    stvaM viprAdyairvarada nikhilairijyase karmabhissvaiH |
tvaM dRuShTanushravikaviShayAnandamAtrAvitRuShNai-
    rantargranthipravilayakRute chintyate yOgivRundaiH || 5 ||

Meaning of the Prayer Song:

Oh the Leader of the world! Vedantas sing Your glory!
All starting with the pundits honor You through acts natural to them!
Shunning as mean the pleasures from seeing, hearing and other material things
clusters of yogis meditate You melting down the internal knots!

 Notes: 

1. tvaM viprAdyair varada nikhilair ijyase karmabhissvaiH
People worship Lord shiva to the best of their capability
and in a way that is natural to them. This worship in the natural
rhythm is the sustainable worship to the Lord. 63 Nayanmars

worshipped the Lord this way.
